Looking to put some extra miles on your running shoes? Check out the 85,000 square-foot Mike S. Zafirovski Sports and Recreation Arena, which houses a six-lane oval running track and four basketball courts where students, faculty and staff can enjoy recreational activities.
Also known as “The Z Dome,” the facility was named after former Edinboro swimmer and soccer player, Mike Zafirovski. The facility serves as a recreation and sports practice venue for the University’s athletic teams and students, while also satisfying recreational and community needs.
Students, faculty and staff may use the Zafirovski Sports & Recreation Center free of charge with their Edinboro Photo ID card.
Open recreation hours are as scheduled during the academic semesters only:
Monday – Friday 12 – 1 p.m.
Monday – Thursday 9 p.m. – 11 p.m.
*The Dome will be closed on Sunday, September 1st and 2nd for Labor Day.*The Dome will be closed after the 12-1pm session on Tuesday, November 26th through Sunday, December 1st for Thanksgiving.
